I have experience in many areas of law, including Bankruptcy, Wills and Probate, Family Law, Criminal Law and Traffic. I have successfully argued on both sides of Landlord/Tenant Law, and even negotiated an interesting civil suit that resulted in a residential schedule for a pet dog to be shared between two alleged owners. I have helped start a few small businesses and also written bylaws and articles of incorporation for two well-known local non-profit organizations, eventually serving on the Board of Directors and writing grant requests for one of them.
Over the years, I have realized that I prefer walking out of a courtroom with a client who has just wiped her criminal record clean rather than holding a new criminal record. Therefore, I have focused my practice solely on clearing old criminal records, restoring firearm possession rights and releasing qualified clients from certain reporting requirements.
I hope you enjoyed reading About Tuxbury Law and finding out why I do what I do.
